  • Burrstone Basset Memorial Award - Due Date: May 20, 2019

    This $1,000 scholarship is being offered to a student graduating in the Class of 2019 who lives in the New York Mills School District and has a love for pet adoption and pet care.
    Write a summary of your life in New York Mills, and about a pet that you have adopted from an animal rescue center. It is also very important to describe your involvement in the pets care.

  • Central New York Kennel Club, Inc. Due Date: 3/30/2019

    The Central New York Kennel Club will recognize students in grades 10-12 who are involved with dogs.  The Kennel Club seeks students who volunteer at shelters, Humane Societies, veterinary offices, are active in the 4H program, work at animal related businesses, have experience in showing, performance, conformation event, and/or training of dogs.

    This award is not based on academic achievement or finiancial need.

  • Connor Arthur Lynskey Memorial Scholarship Due May 15, 2019

    This scholarship is in memory of Connor, a 2017 Holland Patent Central School graduate.  One $1,000 scholarship will be given to a graduating Oneida or Herkimer county high school senior who will be continuing their education at an accredited institution of higher education.  (Must have a minimum of 80 average to apply)

    This scholarship will consider academic standing and leadership qualities, with a preference given to a student who, like Connor, will be pursuing a career in the medical field.  In addition, consideration will be given to qualities that Connor exemplified, such as:  love of sports, being a "team player", inclusiveness, helping others discover their own strengths, giving 100% in every endeavor, leads by example, is kind, is a leader on and off the field/court, and treats everyone with respect.

  • CSEA Irving Flaumenbaum Memorial Scholarship due 4/15/2019

    It is with great pleasure that CSEA announces the 2018 Irving Flaumenbaum Memorial Scholarship Program.  High School Seniors who apply for the Flaumenbaum Scholarship are automatically in the running for the Pearl Carroll and MetLife Insurance Company Scholarships.

    In total, $23,000 in scholarship money is available to CSEA members' children.  High School Seniors are eligible to apply.

  • CSEA Region 5 College Scholarships due 4/1/2019

    CSEA Region 5 will be giving away two $1,000 and two $500 college scholarships.  Applicants must be a graduating high school senior who will be continuing their education at an accredited college/trade school and are the child/legal dependent or grandchild of a CSEA member in good standing or a CSEA Region 5 Staff member.

  • Greater Utica Sports Hall of Fame and D'Alessandro Family Scholarship Due 04/12/19

    Two scholarships in the amount of $1000 are granted by the Greater Utica Sports Hall of Fame.  In addition one $1000 scholarship is granted on hehalf of Richard D'Alessandro and his family, who are prime benefactors of the scholarship fund.  To be eligible applicant must be a high school senior athlete in good standing and plan on enrolling in an accredited college or trade school.  Click here for link to the application.

  • Harry J. Snyder Memorial - Due Date: 5/1/2019

    This scholarship is offered to students interested in pursuing a career in either Criminal Justice or the Environmental Sciences.  All interested students are asked to write a letter about themselves and their future education and career goals.  The committee will base their decision on financial need.  Class rank and GPA is not a factor.    Please process all applications through the guidance office.
    The amount of this scholarship is based on the proceeds from the golf tournament held in memory of Harry J. Snyder which will be on Monday June 17, 2019 at Twin Ponds Golf and Country Club.
