Due Date February 23, 2019There are seven scholarships available to high school seniors who are children, grandchildren or great grandchildren of veterans who served in WWI, WWII, Korean War, Vietnam Conflict, Grenada, Panama or Persian Gulf War. The scholarships are as follows:

* Raymond T. Wellington Jr. Memorial Scholarship*Past President Parley Student Scholarship (Medical Field)
* The Helen Klimek Student Scholarship

All applications are to be submitted 3 days prior to the due date.
All Applications require a cover sheet for each scholarship and is listed under its own application for the scholarship being applied for
The American Society of Military Comptrollers, CNY Leatherstocking chapter is sponsoring a scholarship program for graduating high school seniors who demonstrate exemplary leadership abilities, an interest in the financial management career field, and academic promise. The chapter will award one $500.00, one $300, and one $200 scholarship. Two winners from the local level will automaticaly be considered at the National level. The ASMC Scholarship are for students entering the fields of Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration, or Economics.Applicants must submit:Two (2) letters of recommendation along with the application.Please Submit to the guidance office 3 days prior to the deadline date.
The Association of Fire districts of the State of New York is pleased to announce the "Ned Carter Scholarship. (4) $1,500.00 scholarships will be given to NY State High School Seniors who will be graduating in June 2019, these awards will be presented to those students who will be pursuing a post- secondary career in the community service-related areas of endeavor at either a two-or four-year college.Criteria:The student must be related to a firefighter, be a firefighter or be an explorer in a fire department that is a current paid member in good standing of the association of fire districts of the State of New York.Applications are available online or in the guidance office.Application must be postmarked by 2/23/2019.
This scholarship is for Young Firefighters who wish to continue their post-secondary education at a college of their choice. The Firemens Association encourages the members to climb to the top of their critical roles as firefighters and citizens in a number of ways. FASNY support of the volunteer fire service and the public it protects extends to the education of the youth. The FASNY provides (25) $1,500 scholarships to high school seniors entering college.
Criteria * Be a member in good standing with FASNY or have a parent/legal guardian who is a member.
* Attend high school as a senior who is enrolled in the fall 2019 school year at an accredited two-four year institution of higher learning or an accredited technical post-secondary school.
* Serve as a current Junior Fire Fighter, Explorer, or RAM in a group affiliated with a volunteer department, or a volunteer with an EMS unit.
* Demonstrate a commitment to both volunteer emergency service and to the community.

GPO Federal Credit Union and the Credit Union Association of New York are giving you the chance to win college scholarships ranging from $250 to $1,500 to either a two or four-year accredited educational institution. Each year Lemoyne College awards eight $4,000 scholarships ($1,000/year) to prospective Lemoyne students living in the Diocese of Syracuse who have demonstrated Christian values through contributions to their school parish and community.Criteria and applications are online or in the guidance office.Due Date January 15, 2019

Each scholarship has a specified application deadline and specific criteria for eligibility.
