  • NYS Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Incentive Program 8/15/18

    Provides a full SUNY or CUNY tuition scholarship for the top 10 percent of students graduating in each New York State high school if they pursue a STEM degree in an associates or bachelor degree program and agree to work in a STEM field in New York State for 5 years after graduation.

  • American Legion Auxiliary due February 23, 2018

    Whitestown American Legion Auxiliary Post #1113

    Due Date February 23, 2018 

    There are seven scholarships available to high school seniors who are children, grandchildren or great grandchildren of veterans who served in WWI, WWII, Korean War, Vietnam Conflict, Grenada, Panama or Persian Gulf War. The scholarships are as follows:
    * Department Scholarship
    * Department District Scholarship
    * Raymond T. Wellington Jr. Memorial Scholarship
    *Past President Parley Student Scholarship (Medical Field)
     * The Helen Klimek Student Scholarship
    * Mary Ann K. Murtha Memorial Scholarship
    *The Cerullo Memorial Scholarship (Sons of The American Legion) see separate listing for scholarship amounts
     
     

    All applications are to be submitted 3 days prior to the due date.

    All Applications require a cover sheet for each scholarship and  is listed under its own application for the scholarship being applied for

  • American Legion - The Cerullo Memorial Scholarship - due 2/23/2018

    Sons of The American Legion Detachment of New York / The Cerullo Memorial Scholarship  is awarding up to 4 scholarships in the amount of $500 each. One new and up to three renewable scholarships to previous winners.    Candidates must be a member in good standing in The American Legion, American Legion Auxillary, American Legion Junior Auxillary or Sons of the American Legion

  • American Legion Auxiliary - Junior Members - Spirit of Youth Scholarship Due Date 2/23/2018

    Candidates for this award shall be/shall have been Junior members of the American Legion Auxiliary, and have held Junior membership in the American Legion auxiliary for the past three consecutive years and must hold a membership card for the current 2018 year.  Applicant must continue her membership in the American Legion Auxiliary during the four-year-scholarship period.

     Five scholarships in the amount of $5,000 will be awarded for 2018.  One scholarship will be awarded in each division of the American Legion Auxiliary

  • American Legion Auxiliary - Children of Warriors National Presidents Scholarship Due 2/23/2018

    Fifteen scholarships in the amount of $5,000 each will be awarded for 2018.  Three scholarships will be awarded in each division of the American Legion Auxiliary.  These are a gift scholarships and not loans.  This scholarship is for students whose father, grandfather or great-grandfather was a member of the American Legion during times of conflicts.  The list of eligibility dates are in the guidance office.

  • American Legion Auxiliary - Non Traditional Students due 2/23/2018

    Applicant must be a member of the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary or Sons of the American Legion and shall have paid dues for the two preceding years and for the calendar year of application.  The applicant must be a student returning to the classroom after some period of time in which his/her formal education was interrupted, or just beginning his/her education at a later point in life.

     Five scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each will be awarded in each American Legion Auxiliary division.

  • American Society of Military Comptrollers - DUE DATE: February 28, 2018

    The American Society of Military Comptrollers, CNY Leatherstocking chapter is sponsoring a scholarship program for graduating high school seniors who demonstrate exemplary leadership abilities, an interest in the financial management career field, and academic promise. The chapter will award at least one $300.00, one $250 and one $200 scholarship.  The ASMC Scholarship are for students entering the fields of Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Operations Research (relating to Financial Management) and/or computer Science.
     
    Applicants must submit:
    1. Two (2) letters of recommendation , along with the application
