Safety

The maintenance/custodial department strives to make the entire New York Mills Union Free School District safe for students, staff and visitors. Our department works closely with the Oneida-Herkimer-Madison (OHM) BOCES Safety Office to make sure issues such as, asbestos, fire codes, structural building components, etc., are maintained and regularly inspected. OHM BOCES is also utilized for staff training and during emergency situations.
