Class of 2024 Commencement

On June 21, the 43 students in the class of 2024 became the newest graduates of New York Mills Jr./Sr. High School. During the annual commencement ceremony, the graduates were celebrated and recognized for the hard work and dedication they’ve shown throughout their educational careers.

Remarks were made during the ceremony by Superintendent of Schools Mrs. Michele LaGase, K-12 Executive Principal Mrs. Mary Facci and Class of 2024 President Frank Calhoun. The valedictory address was given by Hailey Róisín Mahardy.

Following the senior song selection, “Count the Stars,” diplomas were presented to each of the graduates by Mrs. LaGase, Mrs. Facci and Interim K-12 Principal Mrs. Denise DiSpirito. As the seniors were officially declared graduates, the turning of the tassel was led by Mrs. Facci.
