On June 13, New York Mills Union Free School District held an Olympic Day to celebrate the elementary students’ hard work throughout the year. The students were divided into groups and given colored T-shirts to differentiate the teams. During the Olympic Day, students participated in individual and class games such as long jump, base runs, endurance runs and ball throw in the morning. In the afternoon, parents were invited to be spectators as they watched the students participate in relay races and tug of war tournaments.
