Inspiring the Next Generation of Marauder Leaders
During the week of April 20-24, we celebrated National Student Leadership Week! At New York Mills UFSD, we are incredibly proud of the students who step up, speak out and lead the way. From our Student Council representatives to our class officers, our Marauders are proving that leadership isn't just a title, it is an action.
We have so many student leaders in our District that it is impossible to get them all in one frame. While we cannot photograph every one of our student leaders, we recognize that leadership happens in every corner of our District. These students play a vital role through organizations, from the Phi Delta Chapter of the National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society all the way to the Neyomian Yearbook staff.
For our younger students, these leaders serve as a roadmap for the many opportunities available as they grow. Whether it is participating in Drama Club, leading as a captain on the athletic field or joining the Miga Mentoring Program, there is a place for every student to find their path. By seeing their older peers organize community initiatives and create a welcoming environment, younger Marauders can see the impact they will one day make themselves.
We would like to thank our advisors, teachers and mentors for their dedication to guiding our next generation of trailblazers. Please join us in celebrating the voices that inspire our entire school community and encourage our future leaders to get involved.
