Jr./Sr. High Hosts Successful Career Exploration Day

On May 22, 160 students in grades 6-8 at New York Mills Jr./Sr. High School dove into a wide array of career paths during the school's Career Exploration Day. The event offered engaging, hands-on and interactive presentations by local industry professionals, giving students a unique glimpse into potential futures.
The day kicked off with an inspirational keynote speech from Cully Patch of Quanterion Solutions, Inc. Following the keynote, students rotated through four dynamic presentation sessions led by representatives from various local businesses and industries. Companies like Chobani, Indium Corporation, Mohawk Valley Community Action Agency (MVCAA) and Edward's Ambulance, along with many other industry professionals, shared their expertise and insights. Students had a fantastic opportunity to discover and learn about different career opportunities.
