On April 28, in honor of Arbor Day, the New York Mills kindergarten class participated in a tree planting ceremony. With the help of their teachers, each student lent a helping hand to shovel a small amount of dirt onto the tree's roots. The students also briefly discussed the history of Arbor Day and had a wonderful time together.
