New York Mills Educators Embody District Values on Teacher Appreciation Day

On May 5, the New York Mills Union Free School District joins the nation in celebrating Teacher Appreciation Day. While this date provides a formal opportunity to offer a special "thank you" to our teaching team, the daily work of these educators is what truly brings the District's mission and core values to life.

At New York Mills UFSD, this recognition extends to the entire instructional staff, including dedicated substitute and itinerant educators, whose passion inspires and uplifts students. The District takes immense pride in how this team helps Marauders discover their potential, build confidence and achieve success.

Our mission is centered on creating an educational environment that inspires confidence, builds character and fosters respect. Educators turn these words into action every time they step into a classroom. By empowering students with the knowledge to become productive and responsible citizens, they act as the primary architects of our students' futures.
