New York Mills Elementary School Receives Donation from FedEx

The New York Mills Elementary School recently received a generous donation from FedEx totalling $2,223 through their FedEx Cares program.

The funds were raised through their annual golf tournament held on August 19. Each year, a few local schools are selected to receive a portion of the funds that were raised to be put toward school supplies, materials, activities and more for the students in those schools. This year New York Mills Elementary School was selected as one of the schools to receive the donation.

The New York Mills UFSD is thankful for the donation from FedEx and for the generosity of representatives Mr. Joe Kennard and Mr. Tim Price, as well as the sponsors who participated in the golf tournament.
