NYM Band Honors Veterans at Memorial Day Parade
On May 25, the streets of New York Mills were filled with the stirring sounds of patriotism and community spirit. The New York Mills Union Free School District’s grades 7–12 band proudly marched in the town’s annual Memorial Day Parade, representing our school with immense dignity and respect.
The student-musicians delivered a memorable, high-energy performance that resonated with the local residents and families lining the parade route.
The annual parade serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by our nation's service members. For the students, it was not only an opportunity to showcase their musical growth and hard work from the school year, but also a profound honor to pay tribute to the brave individuals who served and sacrificed for our freedom.
From their sharp formations to their flawless execution, the band perfectly highlighted the incredible talent, dedication and Marauder Pride that defines our student body.
Thank you to our talented students and the entire community for coming out to support this wonderful tradition.
