Senior Breakfast and Walk
On June 16, the New York Mills Class of 2026 took one final walk through the familiar hallways of their school, creating lasting memories as they reflected on their years at New York Mills Jr./Sr. High School and said their final goodbyes.
This cherished tradition was made even more meaningful as elementary, junior high and high school students lined the halls, cheering enthusiastically as the seniors passed by in their caps and gowns. For the younger students, it offered an inspiring glimpse into the future; for the graduates, it was a bittersweet journey down memory lane. The walk provided a special opportunity for the Class of 2026 to reflect on their accomplishments, celebrate their journey and bid farewell to the younger Marauders. At the same time, it allowed younger students to envision the day when they, too, will walk those halls as graduating seniors, a milestone that may seem far away now but will arrive sooner than they realize.
Before this heartwarming farewell, the graduates gathered for a senior breakfast, kicking off the day’s celebration together. The breakfast provided the perfect setting for classmates to share laughs, sign yearbooks, reminisce about favorite memories and enjoy a few final moments together before embarking on the next chapter of their lives.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026, we wish you the best in all your future endeavors!
