Students Compete in Annual Olympic Day
On June 12, the New York Mills Union Free School District held its annual Olympic Day, with the orange and blue teams competing in athletic events throughout the day. Students had fun competing by grade level in Olympics events, relay races, tug-of-war and more.
Students did an excellent job competing, recognizing the talents of others, celebrating class unity, and of course, having fun. The orange team was triumphant this year with 355 points, while the blue team finished with a respectable 331 points. Way to go, Marauders!
Thank you to the Athletic Boosters and PTSO for providing a shirt for each of the students, and thank you to the students for making it a successful day.
