On October 10, local Veterans gathered at the New York Mills UFSD for an honorary breakfast and celebration.
Attendees ate breakfast treats baked by teachers and enjoyed a musical performance by students who sang a song showing gratitude for their sacrifices. Tables were decorated with student-made cards and the Veterans spent time reading through the words of appreciation.
Several students joined the breakfast to meet and talk with the Veterans and other students attended with and celebrated their parents.
Chobani donated cases of yogurt for each of the guests as an acknowledgement and appreciation of their time served.
Thank you to all of the faculty, staff and students at the New York Mills UFSD, as well as Chobani, for helping to make this first Veterans Day Breakfast a great success!
